Jo's Story
Jo Beavers didn't set out to build a typical insurance agency. After nearly two decades of working with seniors and families across South Georgia, she built something different. A place where clients are treated like neighbors, where questions are always welcome, and where the conversation doesn't end when the paperwork is signed.
Jo specializes in Medicare and life insurance, but her clients will tell you she shows up as much more than an agent. She prays with people in her office. She welcomes adult children into the conversation. She hosts community events, partners with local organizations, and goes out of her way to connect people with resources that help them in real time.
Her passion has always been education. Helping people truly understand their options so they can make confident decisions for themselves and their families. The insurance is important, but for Jo it has always been about the people first.

Beavers Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency based in Valdosta, Georgia, serving seniors and families across South Georgia including Thomasville, Tifton, Albany, Douglas, and Bainbridge. We are also licensed to serve clients in Florida and South Carolina.
As an independent agency we work with multiple carriers, which means we can shop the market on your behalf and find coverage that actually fits your needs and your budget. We are not tied to one company or one product. We are tied to you.
We specialize in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, life insurance, final expense, and a range of supplemental products including dental, vision, cancer, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage.
